He served as an Administrative Officer in the Rivers State civil service, eventually becoming a Director-General. He held various significant positions, including Vice Chairman of the Transitional Committee and Special Adviser on Community Relations. Chief Okoloba-Aziba is also a devout Baptist and a dedicated family man, married to Pastor Mrs. Maria Okoloba.
